LLegan los BACKSTREET BOYS
La banda regresa a nuestro país para presentar todos sus clásicos. El 1 de marzo subirán a las 21 al escenario del Luna Park para cantar delante de miles de fanáticas que los están esperando. Agustín Almeyda será el artista invitado.
Por más de 16 años, Backstreet Boys entregó el pop más fino que una banda de música puede ofrecer. Más allá de las ventas multi-platinos de sus álbumes que ellos han obtenido en la década anterior, el grupo es un hito de la cultura pop en el mundo.
El grupo vendió más de 76 millones de álbumes en todo el mundo, ha tenido una docena de hits en el Top 40 y ha estado en el Top 10 en casi todos los países. Con canciones como “All I Have To Give”, “Quit Playing Games With My Heart” y “I Want It That Way” son uno de los más exitosos grupos de todos los tiempos.
This Is Us es el séptimo álbum de estudio de Backstreet Boys. Brian se casó el 2 de septiembre de 2000 con la actriz y modelo Leighanne Wallace, en Atlanta, Georgia, ciudad natal de ella, a la que conoció en la grabación del video "I'll never break your heart" de Backstreet Boys. En esta ciudad también nació el hijo de ambos, Baylee Wylee Thomas Littrell, el 26 de noviembre de 2002,
Brian comentó que desde un punto de vista personal la paternidad le ha cambiado la vida, ya que “los BSB eran siempre lo más importante, era lo primero en mi vida... Y desde que tengo este rol de padre también me ha ayudado a tomarme un rol más responsable en el grupo...” En mayo de 2006 publicó un disco como solista, Welcome Home, un disco de música cristiana, profesión a la que le gustaría seguir dedicándose paralelamente a los Backstreet Boys.
Biografía
Tiene un hermano mayor llamado Harold Baker Junior. Sus padres son Jacqueline R Fox y Harold Baker Littrell Jr. Brian creció en un ambiente religioso y lleno de música. Desde chico Brian es un apasionado por la música. Junto a su primo Kevin cantó en coros regionales, y eclesiásticos, en casamientos y participaron en espectáculos locales. Ellos solían cantar en las reuniones familiares, pero sobre todo en el coro de la iglesia bautista a la que pertenecía su familia y a la que acudía cada domingo al culto.
Otra de sus grandes aficiones es el baloncesto, amante de los deportes en general, si no hubiera sido cantante, probablemente hubiera sido profesor de educación física porque además le encantan los niños. Fue el último componente que se unió a la banda de pop Backstreet Boys y lo hizo gracias a su primo, Kevin Scott Richardson, el 20 de abril de 1993, a la edad de 18 años.
Recibió una llamada telefónica de Kevin diciendo que había un casting para integrar un grupo de música, y no lo dudó ni un segundo. Al día siguiente tomó el primer vuelo rumbo a Orlando para presentarse al casting. Al ver el talento que Brian poseía, Lou Perlman lo contrató de inmediato, así se transformó en el quinto y último miembro de la banda
Brian ha sido desde el principio uno de los componentes más importantes del grupo gracias a su voz aterciopelada. Desde su llegada a Orlando, formó una sólida amistad con el más joven de la banda, Nick Carter y se caracteriza por ser el más bromista de todos, su imitación del pato Donald es un clásico para las seguidoras del grupo.
Cuando Brian tenía 5 años estuvo en las puertas de la muerte ya que nació con una afección cardiaca que no se le manifestó al nacer. Se dieron cuenta porque un día se raspó la rodilla y no se le curaba, le llevaron al médico y al hacerle estudios se dieron cuenta del problema. Brian llegó a tener hasta 41,5 °C de fiebre. Los médicos dijeron a sus padres que, científicamente, su hijo no tenía ninguna posibilidad de salir con vida, incluso en un momento llego a sufrir un paro cardíaco que duró 20 segundos.
Desde entonces, Brian ha considerado su vida como un milagro, un regalo de Dios.
Pero en 1998 cuando Brian tenia 23 años y se encontraba en la cima del éxito con Backstreet Boys, su nuevo ritmo de vida le condujo a una excesiva fatiga, las pruebas medicas que le realizaron revelaron que el corazón de Brian volvía a sufrir, debía operarse de inmediato porque el tejido de su corazón se estaba dañando. Ese mismo año fue operado a corazón abierto en el Hospital Saint Joseph, en Lexington, Kentucky y un año después su corazón se había recuperado completamente y se encontraba sano.
Antes de su cirugía, Brian y su familia fueron al Hospital Saint Joseph para expresar su deseo de establecer una fundación que pudiera ayudar a niños con problemas del corazón. Fundó el Healthy Heart Club for Kids(Club Brian Littrell de Corazones Sanos) destinada para niños de 8 a 12 años que padecen algún tipo de enfermedad cardiaca, el proyecto ha brindado educación y programas de ejercicios y nutrición a muchísimos niños hasta la fecha. "Los niños y sus padres necesitan un lugar donde aprender lo que es bueno para el corazón y lo que no", explica Littrell

Brian Thomas Littrell (nacido el 20 de febrero de 1975[1] ) es un cantante-compositor estadounidense, también conocido como B-Rok (una contracción de una expresión que viene a significar "el que machaca la canasta"), mejor conocido por ser miembro de los Backstreet Boys. A finales de los '90 y principos del 2000 su participación en los Backstreet Boys lo catapuló al estrellato como la banda que vendió más de 100 millones de discos en todo el mundo. También es un artista contemporáneo de música Cristiana, y ha lanzado un álbum solista, Welcome Home, en 2006.
Littrell fue juez para la 8 ª Entrega Anual de Música Independiente para apoyar carreras de artistas independientes.[2

Cada vez menos nos falta para que los BSB esten en Argentina.
Como no podía ser de otra manera, ya estan los videos de el primer show de los Backstreet Boys en Brasil.
Ver eso, me provoco mucha emcoción y cada vez con más adrenalina. Esto de saber que cada vez estan cerca, es increible. Porque volver a saber que prontito voy a verlos de nuevo, me provoca mucha emocion.

En la dulce espera....
Cada vez falta menos, 11 días son los que nos separa de estar ahí viviendo un momento increible y lo mejor de todo es que muchas van a estar cumpliendo sus sueños. Denpués de estar unos meses a la deriva sin saber cuanod venían, estamos a días de que ese momento llegue. El momento más esperado por muchas, con muchas ganas de vivir una aventura increible.
