Had a great night at Metropolis where I had the wonderful opportunity to introduce Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys to the stage. Nick was in town performing songs off his recent solo album, "I'm Taking Off." He also added in some songs off his earlier solo work and of course tracks from the Backstreet Boys. Just before the show I had the chance to meet Nick and he is a very sweet guy. He says he loves Montreal and his manager Jason mentioned that Montreal feels like their home away from home.
Nick has a busy year coming up. First he's off to Japan for more promotion of his solo album, then it is back to the US for the holidays and then it sounds like he and the rest of the guys will be hooking up to write material for their next album. By the time spring rolls around they'll be heading back out on tour overseas with NKTOB as part of their mega successful joint venture "NKOTBSB." Best of luck Nick!
